SEO Specialist

Pennock is adding a Search Engine Optimization Specialist to the team! This person will be responsible for implementing, optimizing, and analyzing on and off-page SEO across five clients.

Each day at Pennock is different from the previous one and we’re looking for a candidate who is excited by a fast-paced environment, wants to learn new things, and is fired up about working in SEO for DTC and CPG brands. About You

You have a strong grasp on all aspects of SEO and can manage components of strategy through to execution and insights reporting for our clients.

Responsibilities  

• Develop optimization strategies that increase search engine results rankings for our clients

• Research SEO keywords to use throughout websites and marketing materials

• Set measurable goals that demonstrate improvement in our SEO efforts

• Lead competitive and gap analysis of other companies

• Monitor daily performance metrics to understand SEO performance

• Collaborate with paid media team members and clients to execute programs

• Write compelling and high-quality website content, including meta tags and in-line copy

• Develop and execute internal linking and backlink strategies for maximum optimization and search engine rankings

• Evaluate emerging technologies. Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate

Qualifications  

• Bachelors degree 

• 3+ years of SEO experience 

• Knowledge of keyword research and data mining tools

• Previous agency experience

• Comfortable analyzing high volumes of data on a daily basis

• Analytical and data story-telling experience
