Marketing Intern Role

Pennock is looking to add a Marketing Intern to the team!

Each day at Pennock is different from the previous one and we’re looking for a candidate who is excited by a fast-paced environment, wants to learn new things, and is fired up about working in Marketing for DTC and CPG brands.

About You

You check your campaign's performance metrics multiple times per day. You are non-stop looking for ways to tweak and refine ad campaigns to drive stronger results. You crank through SOPs and checklists, ensuring you have the latest practices implemented in your campaigns. You understand the quantitative data behind digital marketing platforms, their machine learning, and how the algorithms work to drive action. You are constantly looking for ways to get into new betas and recommend channel expansion to your clients. You believe optimizing your work is just as important as optimizing campaigns. You understand the logic behind a good promotion and a good landing page. You like working with eCom and DTC brands. You love fashion, lifestyle products, and consumer brands.

You aren't afraid of hitting monthly goals and managing KPIs. In fact, you're thrilled to be judged on your performance, knowing numbers don't lie! You enjoy the challenge of working with multiple clients and needing to be at the top of your game to prove you are the right specialist for their account.

Responsibilities  

  • Assist in the execution of paid digital marketing across channels including Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Pinterest Ads, TikTok Ads, Programmatic, Video, Native, Rich Media, and Audio Ad formats

    Learn how to correctly measure and report performance of digital marketing campaigns

    Identify trends and insights, and optimize spending and performance based on the insights

    Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies

    Plan, execute and measure experiments

    Evaluate emerging technologies. Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate

Qualifications  

  • 1+ years of digital marketing experience

  • Understanding of marketing tactics on Google and paid social

  • Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to build Google Data Studio reports

  • Great communication and presentation skills
